Kelly and Calvin's wedding

This past weekend we went to Kelly and Calvin's wedding in Britt, IA and then to the reception in Wesley. Davin did a great job as the ring bearer. He smiled the whole way down the aisle and stood up with the wedding party through the wedding. We don't have a lot of pictures, but hopefully I'll be able add more.

Matt and John did a great job playing the guitar. We were all very impressed. Roberta video taped the wedding during their duet so hopefully I can add part of it.

The kids did a little too much partying and passed out around midnight. Roberta brought along the pack and play. I think it was for Ben, but he refused to go to sleep.

The Zoo

On July 11th Davin, Sophia, Ben, Pepa, Saul and I drove to Omaha to go to the zoo. My dad, mom, and brother Tim met up with us. The kids had a good time. There were so many people there though. Next time we'll have to find a week day to go.

The next morning Davin was playing outside and found a little

frog hiding in this metal turtle.

4th of July Weekend

We spent 4th of July in Crystal Lake and Clear Lake. We went boating and spent time with Matt's immediate family and extended family.

These pictures were taken of Friday the 3rd at Crystal Lake. There was a lot of algae in the water so we weren't able to spend much time. Davin looks a little grouchy in this picture.

On the 4th we went over to Clear Lake early in the morning to watch the parade. Olivia, Matt's cousin, came with us. The kids got tons of candy and suprisingly Sophia behaved very well during the parade.

It is nearly impossible to get a picture of Sophia looking at the camera so this is the best we have of her in her 4th of July dress.

Typically Davin is scared to go on the tube and we have to convince him to do so. This year he and Olivia wanted to get on and everytime the boat would slow down they would yell to keep going.

This was our attempt at getting a family picture. We took three and this is the only one where you can see a portion of everyone's face.

Sunday the 5th we went back over to Tom and Becky's place so the kids could play in the sand at the lake. Sunday was the only nice day of the weekend.
