Sophia's "Pink" Birthday Party

We celebrated Sophia's birthday on Saturday. She wanted the theme to be "pink". Almost everybody was able to find pink shirts to wear. Sophia and I went shopping and got pink mardi gras beads for everyone to wear and Sophia started out the day with her pink tutu. It was pretty cute.

Christmas with Widen's

We went to the Wisconsin Dells - Christmas Mountain to celebrate Christmas with Matt's family. Everybody had good time although Ben got sick on the ride up and spent the entire time with a fever. Davin went skiing. He had some struggles, but improved during the day. He kept saying, "Is that cool?" We took Davin, Sophia, and Ben swimming.

The kids got water skis to share. Davin will have to learn how to learn to ski this summer.

The Insight Bowl - 2009 - ISU WINS!

Matt and I traveled to Tempe, AZ with his parents and sister Danielle to see Iowa State win in the Insight bowl. The drive down took about 24 hours, but we made it. Typically I'm able to go right away after a long car ride. Apparently I'm getting older. I was tired out. We spent time eating out, going to the game, and shopping.
